Our team has strong expertise and experience from the energy sector. In the energy sector we trade such materials as crude oil (light & heavy), refined petroleum products, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“LPG”) and natural gas. We have a strong relationship with our suppliers and can provide flexible solutions for our clients in a short period of time.

Metals

Our dedicated team has the capacity to carry out international metals trading activities. This division sources and sells products like gold, silver, platinum, aluminium, copper, zinc, nickel, lead, palladium, iron ore and pig iron. Over the years our team members have built up solid relationships with miners, refiners and producers of the above mentioned metals.

Other 

Hillside Trading Corporation Ltd. has also managed over the years to build up great relationships with producers of fertilizers and grains. These products includes and wheat. Our providers of these materials are mainly based in Russia, Ukraine and the former CIS countries. 

Mr. Fredrik Faberklev
Swedish, born 1971

Fredrik started out in the banking world already at the age of 19 as a trainee with the First European Group. Since then he has worked for banking entities such as Swiss Banking Corp and Morval and for family offices such as Dunhill Holdings, The Foltenberry Trust and the Family of Hope Foundation. Fredrik has 20 years + experience from the trade finance and finance world. He is also the founder of the private equity fund The Alpe-Adria Balkan Fund Ltd.

Mr. Ian Ungless
British, born 1957

Ian has an MBA from the University of Exeter and went straight from University to the finance world. He started out working for Natwest Bank and work there during many years. He later went over to Credit Lyonnais where he was an integral part of the trade finance team for many years. 

Mr. Simon Goldfarb
American, born 1955

Simon has an MsC from the University of Connecticut and went straight from school into the commodity trading world. Simon has worked for commodity trading companies such as Philip Brothers, Marc Rich + Co AG and Cargill. Simon has more than 35 years of experience from trading commodities.
